For years, my world was 8th-grade science—teaching chemistry and physics to energetic teenagers. It was my dream career until an autoimmune disease, Narcolepsy, forced me into an early retirement at 45. While my body needed rest, my mind still craved the order and discovery of the classroom.
I returned to my first love: fiber arts. As a "process stitcher" with ADHD, I often juggle five or six projects at once, and I needed tools that could keep up with my busy brain and my physical need for simplicity. When I couldn't find project bags and trackers that fit my life, I sat back down at a sewing machine for the first time in twenty years. It felt like coming home.
